Modeling the head.
 | |
From the front view draw the outline of your eye and mouth using one
spline loop each.
Use a rotoscope as it always helps.
 | |
Extrude the loops outward, shaping them as you go along.
 | |
Add extra definition to spots like the lower lip if you need to.
 | |
From the side view start pulling things out in the Z axis to flesh it out.
 | |
Draw in the nostril. Make sure it's placed correctly in front and side views.
 | |
Extrude up and out a couple time, form the outside of the nostril.
 | |
Keep extruding out and form the nose as you go along, you're only creating one side.
 | |
We're gonna delete the CPs shown here to get ready to mirror.
 | |
Something like that.
 | |
Mirror it over.
 | |
From the side view create a new spline which will become the tip of the nose.
 | |
Connect the 2 nose sides together through the new spline.
 | |
If your geometry is too messy, delete the unneccessary bits and clean it up.
 | |
Like this.
 | |
Create a new ring around the mouth, try to keep it the same number of CPs that comprise the
mouth spline rings.
 | |
And again, except connect the top to the nose where shown.
 | |
Cleaning up. I'm deleting the splines circled in red, and reattaching to the CPs circled in white.
 | |
The circled CPs are useless, DELETED!
 | |
Fill the gaps, shift some points around.
 | |
Now we're going to create the jawline, draw it out with a spline and make sure it looks right in front and side views.
