Plugin for Hash Animation:Master V9.0 and higher
Exports a Hash Action to a SWF File
This plugin is only PC compatible.

Version 1.0 is ONLY compatible with A:M 9.0q and early 9.5 versions.
Version 1.1 and higher is ONLY compatible with currect versions of A:M 9.5 (version 9.51 tested) and current 10.0 versions.

This plugin for Animation:Master exports an A:M action directly to a SWF file.
You can send me requests for a mac version and i'll try to port it, but chances that it will work are not good.

generates a Flash(SWF) animation file out of an action
subdivision levels 1,4,Variable are supported
shading (facet)
patch attribute diffuse color is supported
patch attribute transparency is supported
patch attribute density is interpreted as "transparency falloff"
patch attribute ambiance is supported
patch attribute glow is interpreted as "show wireframe"
selectable wireframe color and width
backface culling
occlusion culling (configurable map size and minimum area)
flat rendering
minimum edge length for flat rendering
in-action camera support. render camera can be specified by name [no camera attributes are supported]
perspective or parallel rendering
in-action light support (multiple lights possible)
light attribute intensity is supported
parallel or omni light rendering
default lighting if no light in scene
default camera if no camera in scene
automatic export range or manual selection
negative stepping (reversed animation) supported
progress bar during export
safe mode for windows xp compatibility (frame 1 and multitasking bug workarounds)

handles animated material attributes (e.g. color animation)
centering output to movie possible
exports choreographies (see example "dance")
exports first scene light as circular gradient on the surfaces of Flat Renders
patch attribute specular color sets gradients inner color
patch attribute diffuse color sets gradients outer color
patch attribute specular size sets gradient radius
patch attribute specular intensity sets size of gradient "hotspot"
light scale transformation is applied to gradient (x for 2D x, y for 2D y)
patch attribute roughness selects light for gradient
preview frame function
light falloff radius scales gradient (falloff is perspectively distorted (gets smaller with distance))

Please download the version that is right for your A:M version.
If you are encountering problems with a:m2swf, first download the most current A:M version available to you (http://www.hash.com/am2002/). If your problem persists, report to mailto:mbricman@kci-group.com.

Close A:M.
Unzip, copy the SWF.hxt to your A:M HXT plugin folder (like C:\Program Files\Hash Inc\V90\hxt)
Run A:M.

Use this plugin at your own risk, i did not have any kind of problem while using it, but its always a good idea to save often. especially before using a plugin.

Step 1
Download the plugin and follow the install instructions above.

Step 2
Open A:M, right-click in an action window, select Plugins > Export > SWF, then just hit OK. Note the name a:m2swf gives you, a:m2swf will have to be registered to exactly this name to be used with this installation of A:M.
